Following the success of Oasys Suite version 9 this new version provides the user with a variety of new tools to help reduce the amount of time spent pre- and post- processing a model and is compatible with the new features and keywords in LS-DYNA 971 R4.2.1.



With this new release of Oasys PRIMER a number of new tools have been added to reduce the time taken to turn a mesh into a fully running LS-DYNA model.
These include:
   * Recordable/editable macros
   * Improved part replace functionality including replacement of multiple parts and re-attachment of related entities onto the new mesh
   * Improved seatbelt fitting including automatic creation of sliprings and retractors, and belt path twist control
   * Dummy positioning with contact to external objects
   * Improved spotwelding functionality including spotweld lines, changing pitch and adhesive "from FE" functionality
   * Improved bolt functionality/creation
   * Improvements to selection methods (object menus)
   * Additions to Part Tree to show keyword contents of models
   * Improvements to database cross section creation/modification
   * Improvements to renumbering entities with regard to include ranges
   * Enhancements to FMH and Pedestrian impact setup
   * Various additions to the Oasys PRIMER javascript functionality

This new version of Oasys D3PLOT includes a number of new features such as:
   * Ability to read PTF (d3plot) files compressed using FEMZIP
   * Speed-up for multiple-core computers
   * Plotting data from the LSDA (binout) file: SPC forces, spotweld results, seatbelt and spring forces
   * Improvements to the handling/visualisation of Groups and Include files

There have also been various D3PLOT visualisation improvements:
   * Views can be set by specifying a target and eye position
   * Improvements to the drawing style for vector and principal stress plots

This new version of Oasys T/HIS includes a number of new features such as:
   * Automatic curve generation for comparing models
   * Units can be defined for models and displayed on curves
   * Annotation of curves (display min/max values)
   * Various new curve operations
   * New FAST-TCF commands

This new version of Oasys REPORTER includes a number of new features such as:
   * Addition of text boxes
   * Batch mode for D3PLOT and T/HIS
   * Image cropping
   * Library program enhancements
